1. Palampur

PALAMPUR TEA-ESTATE
Palampur is a wonderful place in the Kangra distt. This place is being developed as large tourist centre. A ropeway and an amusement park is also on the to be established here. An Agricultural University is already functioning and some tea factories are also there. A short walk from here takes one to the awe inspiring Bundla chasm which falls over a 100mts. to the Bundla stream. During the monsoon seasons, it swells and rages - madly over the entire width of the chasm taking stones and boulders along with it and makes loud roaring noise like thunder. The scenery presents a sublime and beautiful contrast- the plain presents a picture of rural loveliness and repose, while the hills are majestic. Behind this town stands high ranges of Dhauladhar mountains, whose tops remain covered for most part of the year.

Palampur is very famous for its para-gliding places i.e. Bir and Biling.
The famous Baijnath temple is also situated near Palampur.The location of this temple is amazing. Tourism in Palampur offers numerous beautiful places to explore around. The Gopalpur Mini Zoo ,Neugal Park, Bundla Stream, Andretta, Shobha Singh's Art Gallery ,refreshing Tea Gardens Ashapuri Temple are some famous tour places in palampur.

Queen Of The Hills
This is the most favored hill station in the fertile, undulating Jangra valley, lying between the Shaivalik hills and the foothills of the mighty Dhauladhars. The valley, noted for the beauty of its lush green terraces, is a sight to behold. Set against the backdrop of the dramatic Dhauladhar mountains, Dharamsala is perched on the high slopes in the upper reaches of Kangra Valley .

Dharamsala can be Approached by air from Delhi and the Nearest Airport is at Gaggla, just 13-km away from the Town. Pathankot is 80-km and is the Nearest Railhead for Dharamshala. Trains from all over the Country make a Stop Over at Pathankot and from here it is a Three – Hour Journey to Dharamshala.
